Supporting and Caring for Our LGBTQ+ Community
We are proud to partner with SGV Pride and Whittier Pride to serve and support the LGBTQ+ community in meaningful ways. At SGV Pride’s annual event at Barnes Park, and Whittier Pride’s Gay Day of the Dead, we provide spiritual care, a listening ear, and a welcoming presence for all who attend. These events are an opportunity to celebrate, support, and uplift the LGBTQ+ community, and we are honored to be a part of them.
Fr. Dylan serves as priest at Dignity San Fernando Valley and Dignity Los Angeles, and is deeply committed to offering compassionate spiritual care to LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly those who have been hurt or marginalized by the institutional church. His work includes providing emotional and spiritual support to LGBTQ+ elders in hospice care, ensuring that they experience love, dignity, and companionship during their final days. We were especially honored to walk alongside Nancy Valverde, a pioneering LGBTQ+ icon, as she found peace at the end of her life.
Your support makes all of this possible, allowing us to continue this vital ministry of love, healing, and inclusion. With your help, we can ensure that every person in the LGBTQ+ community feels seen, valued, and embraced just as they are. Together, we can create a world where no one is ever left behind.
